Summer Schedule
I'm looking at the Acorn calendar and starting to put a tentative travel schedule together for the summer.
Sapphire is next, Assessment is on there. Aside from that, I'm open to suggestions. I'm considering the Pas du Foret Mysterious-spelling in NC, which would in theory let me get down to see Girard without him having to drive like crazy.
Stierbach is also a possibility, or Highland River, though that's always a killer drive.
Please discuss, lobby, whatever. Consult the Household SCA Calendar as you need to.

The Pas should be an awesome
The Pas should be an awesome event. We were thinking of camping it, as there's a baronial practice there the next morning. On the down side, it's a dry site. Still, it should be lots of good fighting, should look really good, and the feast should be excellent (Mistress Claire de Crecy, Master Eldrid's wife, is cooking). We've had a previous Pas at this location, and that one turned out really well (pictures are available here). The hall is quite nice to hang out in, and has A/C for those who don't want to be out in the sun, and there are even showers in the bathrooms.
We're day tripping Crown, so Phillip, I'll be there to cheer you on and help you out if need be.
We'll be at Sapphire as well, and we were going to camp with Windmasters so I can help out a bit with that camp.
Assessments is a high probability. Is it possible we could crash at your (Corby and Thjora's) place?
Opposite Stierbach, there's Hero's Portion out in Marinus. I don't know which is closer for you.
I need to get a couple more MIT sessions in, so I'm not opposed to traveling light (for a heavy fighter, that means just a bag of garb and a marshal's stick) and riding to almost anywhere.
