Games Tourney in Isenfir is coming up. I mention it here because I want to raise awareness of the fact that Isenfir is holding an event that has fighting! Of course it's up against events at the two corners of the kingdom that might draw folks, but if you'd like to come to our place and make it a weekend, it should be fun. The site's about 30 minutes from our place.

Thank you Sir Corby for menti
Thank you Sir Corby for mentioning it here. I will be there to help support heavy fighting in an environment that at times have been less than hospitable towards it. I am also going to try and encourage the fighters I have over here to come out and play.

Looks like 4 from Caer Mear/Rivers Point
As of right now it going to be Skip, Marino, Manus, and myself.
Don't Worry about the Weather
the weather calls for cool, but if you don't read the report carefully, you might think it is going to rain on the fighting. Rain isn't called for until late tomorrow.
Four
Unfortunately, you didn't miss much by not coming to Games Tourney. But we sure missed you! There were only four fighters in armor.
One mystery is what happened to the Black Diamonders. Philip had been told that a "bunch" of BD newbies intended to come because they were desperate for instruction. They could have had hours of my time in a relaxed, low pressure environment, with Philip, Dominico and others there to also teach some stuff.
No fighters from Black Diamond showed.
The rest of you missed the rare peculiarity of me fighting two sword for one round of the tourney.
I won a copy of the Codex Wallenstein, a 15th century fectbuch or fight manual. It has some really hilarious illustrations. I announced that I intend to hold that prize in trust for the next heavy fighter from Isenfir who authorizes.
I hope I don't hold on to this book for long!
The demo for the kids actuall
The demo for the kids actually went pretty well. Sucked that we didn't fight (they would have ate that up) but the kids loved getting to touch and put on the armour. Overall it wasn't a bad time, just a bit draining.
