Photo by "Mandin" (Robert Reed) taken in AS 24 at Novice Tourney in Storvik. This would have been my third Novice Tourney. It was very very hot.

Oh my...couple of questions:
1) What is in your hand?
2) what is that on your feet?
3) Does Thjora still own that dress and will she wear it at V&E this Pennsic? :)
4) Was the dress handstitched? :)

Or did you mean my RIGHT hand? Nothing. It looks like I'm holding a strap, but I'm not. It's attached to my cuirass. I may have been about to unbuckle it further when the picture op came up.
2: My feet are not in the picture. Probably combat boots.
3: I'm pretty sure Thjora said that dress is gone.

The dress is loooong gone -
The dress is loooong gone - fortunately. Given to a friend who was into the RenFaire scene. It was made of polyester/rayon "linen look" fabric and was probably the third or forth piece of garb I ever made. No, the seams are not hand stitched but I'm pretty sure that the hem and any stitching that might be visible was hand stitched, including the casing for the drawstring in the chemise. I've always been A-R that way. :-)
