Evja's rant

I wasn't sure that blog was appropriate, since I seem to just rant about the job that I hate. It's funny, only been there for a bit under 2 yrs and it feels like an eternity. I could go on and on about how crazy everyone is and how it was not at all like the brochure, but since applying actively for other jobs I feel a bit better - sort of like I'm not going to die in this job. It was cleansing. So instead of ranting about my crappy job - I'm going to go through a short litany of what I can do and if any of you out there need a lawyer - let me know!

So here it is:
My licenses are in NY, DC and IN (Indiana - crazy that)

I'm capable of practicing criminal law (was a prosecutor for several years and taught criminal law), environmental law and insurance law (which I'm doing now), and I can figure out most civil litigation - or at least I think so!

I have spent considerable amount of time in court - which is my favorite thing

Currently I have applications pending at King & Spalding, Greenberg Traurig, and Weil Gotshal & Manges, and US DOJ - so if you know anyone there put in a good word!
